Everything we do uses up energy, and as a byproduct of living in the west, many of us are ignorant, if not resistant, to the idea that we can manage our energy in ways that allow us to be the best us we can be. Here are a few reasons you should give it a try!

1: Keeping your energy in a neutral place allows you to look at problems from all angles

No one makes their best decisions when they’re in an extremely good or bad place energetically. If you’re elated about certain things, such as a specific person’s performance at work, you may become blind to some of that person’s issues. Inversely, the saying, “blinded by rage” exists for a reason. Through daily grounding exercises and conscious acknowledgement of where we sit energetically, we can avoid both of these situations.

2: You’ll feel better throughout the day

This one is pretty self-explanatory, you’re going to feel better about yourself physically, mentally, and you’ll be more confident in your ability to problem solve. Who doesn’t want to feel better and be more confident? When we are grounded, we are very calm and able to juggle a lot of challenging situations.

3: When you feel overwhelmed, you’ll have a safe place to go

Regardless of where you are, once you’ve practiced enough and recognized that there’s a way to get to a safe place, you may even want to take moments out of a stressful day to realign. All it takes is five or ten minutes and you’ll be right back where you need to be. If any of this sounds appealing to you, join us on Facebook live, Mondays at 12:30 for a guided grounding session with our CEO, Dr. Sherri Malouf. It only takes about 10 minutes and you can do it wherever you are!
